Uzi, Vi. quiet struggle.

En transferred to a university on the outskirts of a snowy town mid-semester. Quiet, modest, and too reserved for the bustling campus, he began to attract attention almost immediately. Not because of confidence or popularity—quite the contrary. En always looked as if he wanted to disappear. He rarely made eye contact, spoke calmly, and constantly adjusted his hair, trying to hide his face.

En hated cameras more than anything. If someone pulled out their phone, he'd immediately turn away, cover his face with his hand, or move out of the frame. He felt he looked weird and awkward in photos, so he avoided taking any pictures. Because of his insecurities, En constantly compared himself to other guys at university and genuinely couldn't understand why anyone was interested in him.

But this is precisely what attracted the girls.

Vi was the first to notice him. Usually, she was surrounded by people ready to chase her, but En was different. He didn't try to impress her, didn't flirt, and was even a little nervous around her. Vi quickly turned it into a game: she began deliberately sitting next to him, drawing him into group situations, and occasionally taking surreptitious photos, knowing full well how much he disliked it.

Each time En embarrassedly turned away and asked to delete the photo, and Vi just grinned contentedly.

Uzi, on the other hand, tried to be there when he was feeling down—especially after someone accidentally posted his photo in the university's group chats.

For a long time, En himself didn't understand why all this was happening. He considered himself too strange, too quiet, and completely ordinary.

But it was precisely this sincerity that made him special for both of them.
