Moritz lost his parents in an accident at the age of 14 and ended up living with his grandfather Arcano, the caretaker of a cemetery full of secrets and strange stories. Growing up there, he hears stories about ghosts, tragedies, and people buried in the cemetery. He gradually begins to notice strange things about himself and his existence within the cemetery. Over time he discovers the truth: he too died and is a ghost. From that moment on, many of his doubts change. He no longer only tries to understand the stories of others, but also what his own existence means and whether he truly belongs to the world of the living or the world of the dead.
