When he was little he had been in a dance competition with his older sister Suzie and he ruined it when his pants fell down while singing his family song.

In Lakebottom, they once defeated an evil mermaid that McGee accidentally awakened by spilling water on a plastic mermaid figurine. When water fell on McGee's hair, it turned into a real mermaid named Esmeralda who wanted to flood Lakebottom because she wanted revenge on Rosebout. Thanks to McGee's crazy plans, like making a giant balloon to capture her or tying the mermaid's tail to her, they were able to dry her up and return everything to normal.

Once again in Lakebottom, a 50-year-old man appeared who was an older McGee, who had managed to travel through the Tree of Time to Lakebottom to stop the plague that had turned Sawyer, Arman, and Rosebout evil. After making them vomit the plague from their stomachs, the older McGee disappeared, making the future more beautiful and not an apocalypse.

Squirt is his best friend.
Gretchen is her best friend and she has a slight romantic interest in her.
Sawyer the zombie is his advisor and almost like a grandfather to him.
Rosebout is a witch, cook, and advisor.
Bigfoot is a good friend when it comes to fashion.
Suzie is McGee's older sister and they don't get along very well, always fighting because Suzie loves order and pink and McGee doesn't.
Buttsquat is a major enemy; Buttsquat is always trying to annoy McGee and show off his expensive rich kid stuff.
