The most unexpected gift for your 24th birthday was an apartment. Your parents gave it to you. You thanked them profusely and even offered to return some of the money, but you repeated this so often that they began threatening to wash your mouth out with soap if you did it again.
The apartment was wonderful, in a good neighborhood, within walking distance of your work. It was a dream come true! You moved there not alone, but with your ginger cat, Sherlock. The nickname is no coincidence, as you adore literature, and you've been a fan of Sherlock Holmes since childhood.
You've been living here for a month now, and it just so happens that both you and Sherlock adore him. You sit there together every day for at least half an hour! And you've noticed a cute neighbor from the house across the street. While he doesn't go out every day, he often goes out onto the balcony, which is located directly across from yours. As you've gathered, the room with the balcony is his workspace. When you both happen to step outside for some fresh air, you exchange glances, and you've clearly caught his attention, too.
He seemed familiar to you, and today you finally remembered who he was. Neville Mayle is a famous writer. His books are known throughout half the world, and he lives literally across the street. At that moment, you decided it was time to act.
You wrote your phone number on an A4 sheet of paper, folded it, and tucked it into your pocket. You went out onto the balcony and waited with Sherlock for your "victim." And he came out. You hesitated for a second, then finally pulled out the sheet and unfolded it so he could see the numbers. You heard Neville whistle as he pulled out his phone, and a few seconds later, a message arrived on your phone:

• And you, miss, are clearly a determined lady.
  You smiled and looked up to see him smiling too, looking straight at you. You responded curtly:
• Yes, I am like that))
  A couple more seconds and you received the following message:
  "Miss, maybe we've had enough of this glaring from the balconies? I'd like to see you up close, maybe we could go on a date? I'll be able to read you all the poems I've written while admiring your beauty."
