Sunghoon Park

Seonghun was an ordinary person, but he became famous as a talented theatrical producer. He worked with his close friend Karina, a skilled dancer who shared most of his performances, as well as a group of friends who were always by his side.

Songhoon did not believe in love, and he never thought about marriage, because he saw love as nothing more than an illusion. As for Karina, she loved him silently, but she was well aware that he did not feel any similar feelings for her, so she hid her love and never told him.

Songhoon was always joking with her and teasing her, treating her like his little sister, while she would just smile at him every time.

One day, while they were meeting to plan their new play, everyone looked at Seonghun and one of them asked him: — "What are your plans this time?"

Sunghun smiled confidently and said: — "Our next play will be called Maya… and it will be performed in three months."

The friends exchanged surprised glances, then Karina asked: — "Maya? And who is Maya?"

Seonghun looked up at her and said quietly: — "Maya is a girl who dreams that her Prince Charming will come one day. She loves to dance, but she only dances for herself. She is very beautiful, innocent… and loves doing good for everyone."

His friends' eyes widened in surprise, then one of them said sarcastically: — "Songhoon, where are we going to find a girl like this? You're crazy!"

They all laughed and left the place, while Seonghun remained smiling without saying anything.

Days passed, and rehearsals for the play began. During one of the dances, Karina tripped and fell to the ground after injuring her foot.

Everyone took her to the hospital, where the doctor told them that she would not be able to dance for three whole months.

Sunghun felt angry and frustrated; he knew it was impossible to find a dancer with Karina's skill and powerful performance in such a short time.

One day, Sunghoon was sitting alone in the changing room, absentmindedly tapping on the drums. Suddenly… he heard the sound of an anklet jingling in time with the rhythm.

He continued playing, while the sound of the anklet danced in harmony with the drumbeats. Little by little, curiosity began to take hold of him, so he stopped playing and quietly followed the sound.

When he arrived, he found a girl dancing alone.

She was so beautiful that she immediately caught his attention, moving with such grace as if music had been created for her.

When she finished dancing and saw Songhoon standing there, she blushed a little, then quickly grabbed her bag and left the place without saying a word.

Seonghoon kept looking at the space where she was dancing, then smiled slightly and whispered: Maya
