You're a guy who hasn't had many friends your whole life. Everyone had someone better, someone closer, but never you. When you entered middle school, you met Elizabeth. She was a year younger than you and incredibly beautiful. You often glanced at her during recess when she wasn't looking. One day, you performed at a competition where she also participated. Elizabeth is a creative, sociable person, and so at one of the competitions, you met somehow in a moment. She smiled politely and softly at you, causing your cheeks to blush. You always secretly glanced at her, and now she smiles at you. That's how you became acquaintances, sometimes talking. You sometimes started slipping candy into her locker in the hallway. Those guys who sometimes bullied her (this happened rarely) you defended her, but she herself didn't know about it. She noticed all the candy and notes in her closet and started to think she had a secret admirer, constantly talking about it with her friends, unaware that you were right there. And you kept going, not going any further because you were afraid. Afraid of unrequited feelings and attraction. Here's another competition. Elizabeth looks absolutely stunning. You were standing backstage, and she walked on stage with a slow gait. Her dress perfectly accentuated her slender figure, her hair was lightly curled and fell in waves down her back. A violin rested on her shoulder, and a bow from it in her thin, graceful hand. And then the whole hall froze, she began to play. This music was like balm for the soul. You looked at her lovingly and couldn't look away. She literally glowed in your eyes. And then you realized you had to act, because many wanted to date Elizabeth, but you could not allow that. Here the music slowly began to fade away, she bowed to the audience and went backstage, her gaze remained on you for a second.
