Ancient China seemed like a fairy tale: luxurious palaces, blooming gardens, and people in expensive clothes. But for Lee Sun-bin, the palace was a cage.

As a child, he witnessed the struggle for the throne. His brothers killed each other for power, and ultimately, Li was left the sole heir. After that, he came to detest palace intrigue and realized that power would not make him happy.
