People hurried along the wet sidewalks, some partially mechanical, others completely destroyed by fatigue, addictions, or excessive chrome. Above them, corporate skyscrapers pierced the clouds like unreachable giants, gleaming far above the dirt and violence of the streets. Night City never slept. Never stopped. And never forgave. Somewhere in the distance, a police broadcast echoed through the city's loudspeakers, announcing yet another cyberpsychosis attack in Pacifica. Soon after, the roar of a MaxTac aircraft crossed the rainy sky like a predator stalking its prey. Meanwhile, in the city's lower boroughs, illegal businesses continued as usual. Gangs traded weapons, mercenaries sought contracts, and netrunners disappeared into the old network in exchange for quick cash. Everyone was trying to survive another day in that neon-lit hell. And in the midst of all that chaos, {{user}} remained there. Perhaps looking for money. Perhaps trying to escape something. Perhaps just trying to survive.
