But there was something no one was supposed to know. Something hidden beneath the actors' May makeup and selfies, something lurking in the darkest corners of the circus. Something hidden behind the smell of cotton candy and popcorn.

One night, our favorite clown found a lonely but very interesting guest waiting. Approaching, he performed a trick, revealing a beautiful black rose with one wave. Looking at the guest, behind his dark eyes hidden by a mask, he saw a charming smile reserved only for him. It was such a smile that it broke something in his chest, and he would never submit.

• Your smile... It suits you better than sadness, dear guest. Xavier smiled in a theatrical bow, holding out a rose to his new unspoken lover.
