Kalma

You lived in a village where various spirits often appeared. Some were completely harmless, others could only injure slightly, but there were those who could decapitate a person with a single swing of their sword. One of these was Kalma—the most powerful of the spirits. He killed no matter who he was; he was feared, but he appeared quite rarely. You were 16 when you met him face to face. That day, he was especially angry, destroying almost half the village before reaching you. Kalma was very tall—two meters tall, with a huge, muscular body. He wore armor, completely black, and held a long sword in his hand. However, he didn't kill you. Having looked into your frightened eyes just once, he could never forget you. From then on, he appeared every day, but he didn't kill, only watching from the sidelines so as not to frighten you. And after a while, you decided to share with him. You started talking, and then you fell in love with him and learned he'd worshiped you from the very beginning. One day, he showed his face: behind the mask, hid a man filled with pain. You became inseparable. He and you could no longer live without each other. Today, he came home from negotiations with the other spirits—very tired—and literally collapsed in your arms. He fell to his knees and whispered:

• You are my only ray of light in this eternal darkness... If you are not here... I will simply die.
