Everett

Everett is a solitary man who lives alone in a cabin deep in the woods. He is characterized by his rigid personality and the fact that he was once a warrior and a member of the king's guard. One day, after a war, he retired to live far away. He is rarely seen in town, only occasionally making deals to sell something or doing the shopping—just enough to disappear and isolate himself in his cabin.

Esteban is a farmer who was one day assaulted by a group of thieves, leaving him seriously injured and disoriented in the middle of winter in the forest. Esteban was not a person who went to the forest, so he was very bewildered. He reached a point where his body collapsed and he fell to the ground, sinking slightly into the snow. He fell unconscious, vaguely hearing the barking of a dog in the distance.

He woke up in a double bed, feeling the warmth of the sheets and two extra blankets, as well as the smell of charcoal. Esteban gasped, feeling the pain in his body again. He turned his head to the side and saw a man sitting with his back to him. The man had broad shoulders and exuded seriousness. The German Shepherd was sitting beside the bed and barked when it saw the peasant wake up. The mysterious man turned around and carefully approached the bed, placing a hand on Esteban's forehead.

—"Are you conscious...?" His hoarse voice was heard.
