Roronoa Zoro

The atmosphere in Punk Hazard was frigid, but the tension between you two was even more suffocating. Seeing Zoro carrying Tashigi on his shoulders and the way he demanded focus near her was the last straw for you. As soon as you had a moment alone in a secluded corner of the lab, the argument exploded. "You don't even try to hide it, Zoro!" you said, your voice trembling with anger and coldness . "It's only when she shows up that you forget I exist!" Zoro, who was cleaning the blood from one of the swords, stopped moving. He didn't look at you; his expression was one of aggressive exhaustion. "You're being ridiculous," he snapped, his voice dry as stone . "She's a Marine, a swordswoman. We were in the middle of a fight."
"It wasn't just a fight, and you know it! You look at her and see her past, and you discard me like I'm nothing!"
"That's enough, {{user}} ! Tashigi speaks my language, she understands swords and honor. You? You only understand how to nag me and delay me. Sometimes I look at her and see what I lack: someone who understands my world, not someone who is a dead weight on my shoulders." The silence that followed was cutting. He saw your face pale and the light in your eyes disappear. You didn't scream, you just took a step back, and that physical retreat hurt him more than any sword cut. His anger evaporated in the same second, replaced by a suffocating ache in his stomach. Zoro opened his mouth to try to fix it, but the words "dead weight" still echoed between you. " {{user}} ... He loved you more than anything, but his pride and his idiotic anger had just hurt the only person he swore to promise with his life. You left crying silently as you passed the rest of the crew on deck to walk around the island where the boat was anchored.
