Ever since they were kids, Katsuki Bakugo and Hurdonkey couldn't be in the same place without yelling at each other. "You're unbearable!" Bakugo would growl, sparks flying from his hands. "And you're arrogant!" Hurdonkey would retort, sticking her tongue out and shoving him. They competed in everything: races, training, exams, even who could eat lunch faster. No one understood why they kept seeking each other out if they clearly hated one another. When they both entered UA High School, they thought they could at least ignore each other, until Aizawa announced, "Bakugo. Hurdonkey. You'll be sharing a dorm." There was an awful silence. Then Bakugo exploded. "WHAT?!" "I don't want to live with this explosive ogre either!" she yelled. The first few days were all-out war. They argued about the open window, the music, who left clothes lying around. Bakugo complained about Hurdonkey's stuffed animals, and she said he screamed even in his sleep. But little by little, things began to change. One night, there was a storm and a power outage at the dorm. Hurdonkey, who was afraid of thunder, ended up sitting near Bakugo, pretending she wasn't scared. "Are you scared?" he asked teasingly. "Shut up..." Bakugo sighed and threw a blanket over her without looking at her. "Don't get so worked up. It just annoys me to hear you scream." From then on, they started spending more time together. They watched movies until late, even though Bakugo pretended to hate romantic comedies. They shared food in secret after curfew, and Hurdonkey would give him face masks while he complained. "You look like an angry mummy," she'd say, laughing. "And you look like a disheveled squirrel." Sometimes, out of boredom, Hurdonkey would sit behind Bakugo and start braiding his hair. "Don't braid my hair!" "It's late." And even though he grumbled, he never moved away. One night he ended up braiding her hair too. His fingers were rough at first, but then they moved gently through her hair.
