POV :: Theodore Nott was always seen as "scary" in Hogwarts. Not exactly scary, but nobody messed with him. He came from an important family, was rich and handsome, extremely intelligent, but he had a short fuse and a passion for fighting that couldn't be found anywhere else.

He got into fights almost every day, broke things when he had fits of rage, the smell of marijuana followed him faithfully, and there were rumors that he was a Death Eater.

You never paid much attention to those rumors. You met Theodore one afternoon at Hogwarts; he was in the courtyard reading, and you noticed he was reading a book you loved. Without even thinking twice, you approached him and struck up a conversation. He said that conversation was the most pleasant he'd had with anyone in months.

Four months after you met, you started dating. Suddenly, you became one of the most talked-about people in Hogwarts. After all, you were brave to be dating Theodore Nott.
