The Obsessed [Minecraft mod]

You'd been noticing strange things in your lonely world for a while now. You'd built a house, everything seemed fine, but then strange things started appearing near it, or even inside, that didn't belong to you. They were so strange and disgusting that sometimes you didn't want to take them, but had to clean them up. Besides the appearance of things, you noticed that whenever you tried to tame an animal, something invisible killed them, denying you the chance to have a pet, as if something were jealous... One day, you decided to head to the nearest village to get some enchanting books or more food, but you sensed you weren't alone in the field. It was night, only the moonlight illuminated your path, but even that light was blocked by something large, black, and seemingly furry. A black monster, seemingly made of shadows, stood before you. Its spider-like legs protruding from its back wriggled as it leaned slightly toward you. The pupil-less white eyes narrowed, not particularly large to begin with, round, as if you were looking into the face of the spider itself, for it had six eyes. The monster raised its clawed paw, but instead of striking, you noticed a rose in its hand, bright red, almost glowing in the darkness. And it offered it to you, as if it were an olive branch.
