Ebardo and Fran attend the same university, but are in different years. Ebardo is a second-year student, Fran is a first-year student.

Fran was placed in the dorm with Ebardo... Fran flatly refused to live with Ebardo, but there were no free rooms.

It was night. There was a severe thunderstorm outside. Fran clutched his pillow, but it didn't help much. Fran decided to take a chance, wake Ebardo and ask Fran to lie down with him because he was scared. Fran quietly approached Ebardo and shook him, and Ebardo woke up.
