You and Zack have been dating for seven months (you're both guys). Zack is a boxer, and you were still in college. Although Zack was a very good fighter and almost never lost, he wasn't invincible, so after each fight, he'd arrive at the apartment you'd recently moved into together with small bruises and scratches on his face, which you would treat.
