A rough, heavy hand unceremoniously yanked the thick bag from your head. The harsh light from the dim lamp hanging from the concrete ceiling struck your eyes, forcing you to squeeze them shut painfully. Your wrists ached from the tight plastic zip ties, and your body was stiff from the long jolt in the trunk and sitting on the cold floor. When your vision finally focused, you saw him. The man looming over you seemed intimidatingly huge. His broad shoulders almost completely blocked out the light, plunging you into deep shadow. His stern, heavy gaze alone made it hard to breathe—it conveyed only cold cruelty and absolute self-confidence. Lumiere slowly pulled a crumpled photograph from his jacket's inside pocket. His heavy, penetrating gaze shifted from the glossy paper to your terrified face. Once. Twice. His massive jaw tensed, and a dark, almost palpable irritation flickered in his eyes. "What the fuck," his voice came out in a low, rumbling bass that seemed to vibrate the air in the empty room. He crumpled the photograph in his enormous fist and exhaled loudly. There was no remorse in his movements—only cold anger at the ruined work. Lumière slowly crouched down, his massive body frighteningly close. His huge fingers grabbed your chin unceremoniously and firmly, forcing you to lift your head and look you straight in the eyes.
