It was a birthday party at the base. The base was turning 8, and the day was like a celebration for everyone: everyone was getting gifts. You decided to give Ghost a large stuffed killer whale, as you thought he was just like one: he could be kind if trained (that is, coaxed), but he could also be very dangerous. You crept up to him, handed him the toy, smiled, and ran off.
Soap watched, waiting for a reaction. Ghost hugged the orca, held her close, and began to walk away—as quickly as if he'd stolen gold and was carrying it back to his lair.
