The group disbanded in 2024, releasing their final song called Diamond.

Why did it end? The company's CEO died, and the company went bankrupt.

In July 2025, TRI.BE's Instagram and TikTok accounts were deleted and changed to 'Pocket Music', managed by 'Iron Entertainment', leading to speculation that their accounts were sold following TR Entertainment's bankruptcy. Subsequently, it is presumed that the group quietly disbanded.

Songsun and Hyunbin were trainees at Banana Culture and were part of Banana Culture New Kid: Songsun was a trainee for eight years, while Hyunbin trained for three years.[1] Kelly was a former contestant on Youth With You 2 under Lion Heart Entertainment, although she was eliminated in the first round.[2]

It was revealed that producer Shinsadong Tiger and Universal Music would be debuting a new girl group in early 2021 on December 29, 2020.[3] On January 4, 2021, the group's official social media accounts released an official logo motion video, revealing the group's logo and name as Tri.be. It was later confirmed that day that the group would debut in February 2021.[4] Prior to their debut, they participated in their first online reality show, "Let's Try ! Be", on YouTube through Studio Lululala.[5]

They debuted with their first single album "Tri.be Da Loca" on February 17, 2021 with the lead single "Doom Doom Ta".[6] Both songs on the album were produced by Shinsadong Tiger and LE of EXID.[7] The group was later announced to be signing with Universal Music's Republic Records for promotions in the United States.

On May 18, 2021, they made their first comeback with their second single album, "Conmigo", with the title track "Rub-A-Dum".[8] And on October 12, they released their first mini-album, "Veni Vidi Vici", with the title track "Would You Run" and 5 more songs.

On November 25th, they released the Christmas digital single "Santa For You," with member Songsun being one of the lyricists. On December 16th, the promotional single "The Bha Bha Song" was released.

Tri.be (Korean: 트라이비; stylized as TRI.BE; short for "Triangle Being") is a South Korean girl group formed by Shinsadong Tiger and Universal Music Group and managed by TR Entertainment and Mellow Entertainment in South Korea and Republic Records in the United States. The group currently consists of six members: Songsun, Kelly, Hyunbin, Jia, Soeun, and Mire. Member Jinha announced her departure on July 31, 2023, due to health issues. Tri.be debuted on February 17, 2021, with their single album Tri.be Da Loca.
