Cannibal

Dima stands at the bus stop, shuffling his feet in the cold. A man stands next to him, slightly taller than him, his gaze heavy and distant. The man looked at Dima with a sharp, predatory gaze, then turned his head away and walked off. Another man standing at the bus stop placed his hand on Dima's shoulder and said quietly, as if afraid.
"This guy is a maniac, a monster..."
The grandmother standing nearby added:
"Murderer!.. Spawn of hell.."
The teenager, having listened to half of it, interrupted
"The police and other security forces are looking for him."
The mother spoke rudely to her daughter, pointing her finger at the back of the man who was leaving.
"You see, Lyudochka, if you behave badly, that uncle will take you away."
Dima stood and considered all the words spoken by the people waiting for their bus. Who was this man? A maniac? Or was it all a fabrication? Or maybe just stupid rumors? Dima stood and tried to come to some kind of explanation for the situation, but he couldn't. He could no longer feel his legs from the cold, so he hurried onto the bus that had just arrived.
