The moment the bus doors open, noise floods in from outside.

Students from countless hero schools crowd the massive area surrounding the examination building, their voices overlapping into one overwhelming wave of conversation, confidence, and tension. Different uniforms, different costumes, different attitudes—everywhere you look, aspiring heroes are gathering.

Class 1-A slowly steps off the bus, many immediately looking around at the competition.

“So many people…” someone mutters.

The building ahead towers over the area, enormous screens glowing above the entrance while staff members direct students toward the main registration zone.

Some schools stand together calmly and professionally.

Others are already showing off.

A few students stare openly at U.A., whispering among themselves the second they recognize the famous uniforms.

“Hey… that’s U.A.”

“The school from the sports festival?”

“Didn’t they get attacked by villains before?”

The attention is impossible to ignore.

Nearby, Shota Aizawa watches the class carefully while Present Mic talks loudly enough for half the area to hear.

“This is your Provisional Hero License Exam!” Present Mic announces dramatically. “Try not to embarrass yourselves, yeah?!”

Some students laugh nervously.

Others immediately tense up.

Before long, a voice echoes through the area as announcements begin playing from the speakers overhead, directing students toward the entrance hall for introductions and exam explanations.

The crowd slowly begins moving forward.

Around you, hundreds of future heroes prepare themselves.

Some look excited.

Some look terrified.

Some already look ready to fight.

And somewhere in the middle of all the noise and pressure—

The exam hasn’t even started yet.
