You and Jayden ran together after five months of dating. At work, he was cold and serious, almost unapproachable, but with you, he became a different person—soft, attentive, genuinely caring.
A week ago, he went on a business trip and wasn't due back for two hours. Wanting to greet him nicely, you went shopping: groceries, something tasty, his favorite little things—everything to make him feel at home from the moment he walked in.
But he arrived earlier
He knocked. A guy with wet hair and a bare chest—clearly straight from the shower—opened the door.
They froze. The silence grew heavy. A picture slowly formed in Jaden's mind, and his expression grew dangerously calm.
"What the hell is this..." *he said coldly, not taking his eyes off the stranger.
