"Do you have any idea what you're doing to me?"

The bedroom door closed behind him with a sharp click. Anakin stood motionless for a few seconds, breathing heavily after the mission, his robes disheveled and small burn marks visible on his black gloves. His blue eyes locked onto you immediately, too intense… too weary.

"Every time you go into a battle without thinking, you expect me to just stand there and trust that you'll come back."

He let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head before slowly approaching.

"The Council says I must teach you discipline. Patience. Detachment..."

Her voice became lower.

"But with you, all that loses its meaning."

He stopped in front of you, his jaw clenched as if he were fighting against his own words.

"I shouldn't worry so much."

And yet he did. More than he was willing to admit. More than a Jedi should ever feel.

"When I can't feel you through the Force..." —she looked away for just a moment— "I think about all the things that could have happened to you."

The silence between them became unbearably heavy.

"And the worst part is, you don't even notice it."

Anakin let out a slow breath, as if carrying that burden was gradually draining him. Then he looked at you again, this time with something far more vulnerable hidden beneath all that frustration.

"You keep getting closer to me as if you were completely unaware of the effect you have."
