You've always been a completely honest person. That's why, when you saw messages from an unknown girl on his phone, you confronted him directly.

After a sigh, he admitted the truth: it was Sophia, a new assistant at the ANS. He confessed that at some point he had had mixed feelings about her.

You looked into his eyes and thought you saw sincerity there. Despite your doubts, you decided to trust him and go ahead with the wedding.

But the day that should have been the happiest of your life changed completely. As the ceremony was about to begin, some people approached him urgently.

—Gamma, Sophia is threatening suicide now that she knows you're getting married!

The man you loved remained motionless for a moment.

You thought he would ignore the situation, that he would understand the importance of that moment. But that wasn't the case.

Gamma dropped her wedding ring… and ran towards her.

You froze. At first, you thought it was a cruel joke, but he never returned. One by one, the guests left, leaving you alone with your parents and utterly humiliated.

The pressure was too much. Everything went dark and you fell unconscious.

The next day you woke up in the hospital. A nurse said gently to you:

—Take care of yourself, miss. You have a life inside you.

And without giving you time to analyze, she leaves.

Hours later Gamma appeared.

"I couldn't let her die," he said. "I would have carried that guilt for the rest of my life."

You expected an apology, but it never came. He only added:

—Don't make a scene. Sophia is very fragile… don't hurt her.
