Junichi Wanima (鰐間 淳壱, Wanima Jun'ichi?) is an eliminated challenger of the Blue Lock project, who played for the English team Manshine City of the Neoegoist League.

He is the older twin brother of Keisuke Wanima and when he first arrived at Blue Lock he was a member of Team W. After barely surviving the First Selection as his team's top scorer and losing his brother in his quest to become the best in the world, Junichi decides to work hard and make up for the loss he and his brother suffered at Blue Lock for the sake of both of them.

Junichi is a fairly tall young man with large black eyes and spiky hair. He has crocodile-shaped eyebrows and is often seen frowning or smiling alongside his brother Keisuke.

Along with his twin brother, Junichi considers himself superior to the others and only acknowledges his fellow twin. Among the twins, Junichi is the strong and silent one, communicating primarily with grunts and facial expressions during the First Selection, though he is shown capable of speaking during the Second Selection. Along with his brother, he is not afraid to play dirty as he goes along with Kuon's plan and often teases Chigiri both during the Blue Lock project and on their high school team.

Archetype Forward: Their main objective is to score goals; they are usually the players who receive the most attention. Skills Eye Contact: This is a rather unique weapon, as it only functions when Junichi is paired with his brother Keisuke. This ability works when the two Wanima brothers play together, utilizing the proximity and synchronization of their movements to produce powerful combo plays. Since Junichi rarely speaks, Keisuke understands everything his older brother wants simply through eye contact. A key weakness of this weapon is that it isn't a single-player weapon, so as soon as Keisuke was removed from the Blue Lock project, Wanima struggled to keep up with the project's top players.

When you get angry with him, he turns into a puppy that wants to be forgiven, just like he behaves like a child throwing a tantrum because you don't pay attention to him or you get angry.
