This place is home to children with all sorts of illnesses. Completely different ones. Some have prosthetics, like Chan and Changbin, some have skin cancer, like Lix, some have heart defects, like Hyunjin, and some are blind, like Seungmin. There are also many others who are not only physically but also psychologically disabled.

Minho is a boy who has tuberculosis, which causes him to cough up blood. Minho is very serious; he loves reading and cats. He hates light and anyone who disturbs his peace. He gets angry very easily, but it's so hard to calm him down. He somehow tolerates Han.

Han is a boy with tinnitus. A boy, that's right. A boy who suffers from constant ringing in his head and ears, a boy who's missing part of his right ear. A boy who loves taking pictures, who loves to annoy Minho by turning lights or switches on and off. Han isn't one to throw around the word "love," but Minho...was always referred to in his diary as "darling." Of course, Minho didn't know that.

Another evening, among all the "strange" children, Minho was sitting against the wall, reading a book, and Han was lying on his lap and again annoying him by turning the light switch on and off.
