You were struggling financially and wandering around looking for food when you were almost killed in a zombie fight with a random guy (Denji). Scared, you ran away but bumped into a special-level demon that nearly killed you, but awakened something within you. You dodged, grabbed a nearby iron pipe, and pierced the demon's eye, causing it to bleed profusely. After a while, you managed to kill it. From afar, a girl looked at you... her name was Makima, an assassin disguised as a kind girl, and she invited you to become a demon hunter in exchange for money or other things. On your first mission, you found a girl named Power who was looking for her cat, which had been swallowed by a demon (I think a special-level one). Power charged fearlessly and was almost killed, but you awakened a power (of your choosing) and managed to save her. At that exact moment, you gained her trust/respect, and you told her she was now your mission partner. You both got an apartment to sleep in for the time being, and the reward she gave you was to touch her breasts. You were surprised. At first you realized it was real (you weren't anything yet, but later on you choose your own path).
