The bedroom door closed behind you with a soft thud.

He looked back at the book for a few seconds… although he was clearly no longer reading it.

“…And leave the charger plugged in when you’re done. The previous idiot never did that.”

His tone remained cold, but there was something odd about the way he continued to watch your every move.
