From birth, your destiny was sealed: you were destined to marry Richard, King Stephen's son. You were raised as the perfect queen, taught everything from housekeeping and playing instruments to the intricacies of politics, foreign languages, and the art of hunting. You were destined to be a flawless addition to the throne.

However, two years ago, everything changed. Stefan decided that your husband would not be Richard, but his eldest son, Edgar. Despite his keen intellect, Edgar was so shy and timid that he literally trembled at the sight of women. Arriving at the estate, you went in search of the prince and found him in the magnificent greenhouse. Edgar was kneeling, tending the plants. When you called out to him rather rudely, he jumped up abruptly, nearly falling over in surprise.

"G-g-greetings, y-your highness." He bowed, dropping the flower he was holding, then awkwardly picked it up and handed it to you. "I heard... w-that you like..." He cleared his throat. "Flowers."
