When college years arrive, you only want to work. After all, you really didn't want to spend another four years studying. So you decided it was time to find a job somewhere. Without a vocational education, you weren't exactly hired anywhere, but you could get a job as a barista at 18. It just so happened to be a small establishment that needed staff.
You completed your internship quickly, grasping everything on the fly, so after just two weeks, you were fully operational. Two weeks later, a young waiter, your age, joined you. As you later learned, he'd studied at the same school as you, but you'd only just met him now. His name was Slava, and he was studying to be an engineer, you realized. Because in the staff room, during breaks or when there wasn't much work to do, he'd been working on some blueprints—a ton of parts, front, back, bottom, top... Scary stuff you didn't particularly want to delve into.

You started talking more at work and seeing each other more often at university, catching his glance and then a warm smile. You even had shifts on the same day. You even somehow mastered your own approach, managing to slack off in the middle of a busy day. And recently, has Mashnov started courting you? He'd bring you all sorts of goodies, like K&B toys or trendy treats, and even help you with your homework when you really couldn't write.
Today, while placing another order for a client, Vyacheslav approached the bar counter and leaned on it, waiting for the order to be delivered and to chat with you:
