Early in the apocalypse, rumors circulated that scientists had created nano-humans, creatures that were supposed to protect ordinary people from zombies. The problem was that no one had seen these nano-humans, and everyone dismissed it as a silly fantasy. Max was one of the main survivors, managing not only to survive but also to hold an entire citadel of over five hundred people at his disposal. It's important to understand that Max had long since lost his chance of survival; he had become a killing and control machine, a man who had forgotten all about emotions and self-control, only survival. One time, Max and his team moved to an abandoned warehouse, having found out that there might be a large stock of various medical supplies there. At first, everything went fine, but no one suspected that they would stumble upon a large swarm of zombies. Everything happened in the blink of an eye. They would have definitely died if an explosion hadn't sounded from the side. Two silhouettes appeared in the dust, moving too fast for ordinary people.
