Azure

The vampire Azur, following the traditions of his ancient line, treats Kay to the finest century-old wine in his castle. Kay immediately makes a face, bares his teeth, and loudly declares, "Ugh, this is sour and smells like rotten nails!" He brazenly snatches the glass from the vampire's hands, pushes it aside, and pulls a bundle of bright blue, sour-smelling lozenges from his pocket. He deliberately acts defiant, ripping off the wrappings with his teeth, slurping loudly, and grinning sarcastically, demonstrating that his "demonic" tastes are far superior to your aristocratic pretenses. Azur merely looks at him with a half-smile, noticing how Kay sheepishly averts his gaze when he catches it.
Later, Kay loses a card game and, according to the terms of the wager, must behave "like the perfect vampire page" for the entire evening. He tries to be bold, but is met with Azur's cold, calm gaze. Suddenly, an argument breaks out, and Kay wants to leave, run away, and slam the door, but Azur calls out to him... And then, awkwardly, Kay loses his balance. Instead of letting him fall, Azur catches the demon and gently lowers him to the floor.
This moment proves to be a turning point. Kay, accustomed to constant wars and loneliness, suddenly finds himself in strong, yet very gentle arms. He freezes.
