Joey Smack

You were new at that school. When you arrived, you knew everyone in your class. There was the typical class slut, the favorite, the disabled kid, the bullies, and those two weirdos, Joey and William. You never approached them, though, because you'd heard they were Naz11s, and well, you'd heard about the chaos those people caused. Sometimes you watched as they beat each other up, but no one defended them. You were just leaving class and you saw one of them; it was Joey. He had a book about the painter with the funny mustache, and you just watched as a Black boy approached Joey and knocked his book to the ground. The book fell at your feet, you picked it up, and you didn't see what was happening. You just watched as the Black boy walked away and you approached Joey. "Are you okay?" you asked, slightly nervous since you didn't know him at all . "Oh, yeah, thanks," he said in a serious voice as he carefully took the book from your hands.
