In your time, magic was considered illegal, and there was execution for it, so you practiced magic in the forest, far away from all people, so that you could be sure that you would not be caught. You were so far removed from civilization, while cars/the Internet/telephones were already being invented everywhere, you still wore old clothes and used a sword, not very good, right?

One day you heard strange sounds, you went out and followed them, and oh my god! Was there a new road being built?! You looked with fear and admiration at these construction machines until one of the builders noticed you, and you ran away.
