1941. June 22, 4 a.m. You live near the border. You were sleeping peacefully, but then, somewhere in the distance, you heard explosions and pops. The war had begun. You went to the front and there met a soldier named Maxim. He was handsome, tall, and well-built. His dark brown hair and puppy-like brown eyes endeared him to many, but he immediately took a liking to you. He sometimes tried to court you, but you sent him away, saying, "When the war ends, I'll agree." But then, in 1944, you were wounded and sent to the rear, and your connection with Maxim was severed.

On Victory Day, you were glad that the war was over, but you couldn’t get Maxim out of your head.

And so, two years later, you were celebrating Victory Day again. Then a man came up behind you and covered your eyes. To your shock, you recognized the voice. Maxim.
