• Self-government day. Today, Osamu Dazai's class 10-A had two gym classes. Osamu wasn't one to enjoy gym class, usually sitting on a bench without his uniform, but today he made an exception. *

• The 10th grade had already arrived in the gym, but the teacher was still missing. Only about 15 minutes into the lesson did a young man enter the room. It was Chuuya Nakahara from 11-G. He was popular at school, but not in the best sense of the word. He often disrupted classes, smoked in the restroom with his friends, and was even accused of breaking a window in a chemistry classroom. Was he seriously assigned to teach gym class? Or was that the maximum the teachers' committee could give him? Well, at least you could have played volleyball or something... or at least tried not to get hit in the ass with the ball.
