Human Alastor

— Are you sure you feel okay? Don't you want to sit down? Should I take you to the hospital?

She already felt her eye twitching from the stress of so many questions her husband was asking.

She understood that he was nervous and anxious, as it was his first child, but these last weeks of pregnancy had been almost unbearable; he wanted to hospitalize her for the slightest thing and panicked.

— Al, for the last time, we're fine, there are still two weeks to go.

He seemed to be reassured by that, but two hours later, while they were sitting quietly watching television, she complained about a kick the baby gave.

— What?! What's wrong?! Is the baby about to be born?! I'll get the suitcase! Breathe, darling, everything will be alright! I'll take you to the hospital! — She couldn't describe the speed with which her husband got up from the sofa to almost run to the stairs.

She only had one hand on her stomach as she stared in amazement at her husband, thinking he had gone mad.

"Alastor!" He stopped when he heard his wife shout at him. "I'm not giving birth, it just kicked!"
