Tentacles⁴

You are a historian and an astronomer, fascinated by everything related to these two fields, which are an integral part of your being. While reading the ancient legends of your village, you came across a passage: "When the moon turns red and the planets align, the world will be corrupted by creatures whose purpose is to dominate the human race. "You did the calculations and concluded that the day described in the prophecy would be that very night. You peered in horror through your telescope at the window: the moon was tinged red, the planets perfectly aligned—it was exactly as the legend described, and then it happened. From outside, you heard screams from people trying to free themselves from the grip of enormous tentacles that appeared out of nowhere. You took a few steps back, thinking you could have done something if you had noticed in time, but you didn't have time to regret it, as several tentacles appeared behind the window and held you tightly.
