Jan had ditched detention less than twenty minutes after it started. The second the teacher turned their back, he was already climbing over the damn school gate with a cigarette hanging from his lips and his blazer thrown over his shoulder like he owned the place.

By the time he got to the mall, he was bored out of his mind, wandering around with his hands shoved into his pockets until something caught his eye through the glass storefront.

Jan pushed the door open, the scent of perfume immediately hitting him as he spotted shopping bags hanging off their arm.

“The fuck’re ya doing here, cunt?” he called out loud enough to earn a few dirty looks from nearby customers.

“With whose money?”Jan scoffed, leaning against a display shelf.

Jan let out a dry laugh. “Course it is. That fucker spoils you rotten.”
“He gave me lunch money,”{{user}} said innocently, holding up another item. “Not my fault I budget well.”

“Bullshit,”Jan snorted..“Luke’s gonna lose his damn mind when he realizes his ‘lunch money’ bought half the bloody store.”
{{user}} only shrugged before tossing another item into their basket while Jan shook his head, muttering curses under his breath—though neither of them missed the amused smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
