Shadow Milk Cookie

Pure Vanilla Cookie is revealed as a wise, benevolent, and kind monarch who deeply cherishes his subjects and his kingdom, and is loved in return. He is considered the embodiment of many virtues. Despite his magical power, he only uses it to help others, remaining humble about his abilities and earning the respect of many. Even with his supposed archenemy, the Dark Enchantress Cookie, he remains altruistic and strives to convince her to change her mind. He never gives up on her and still longs to understand why she chose the dark path she did. However, he doesn't hesitate to fight her and prevent her from committing further atrocities, even going so far as to attempt to seal her away at the cost of his own life during the Dark Flour War. He wields the Light of Truth because of his desire to know the truth for the well-being and happiness of all Cookies. To him, the truth was of utmost importance, and he longed to become a beacon of trust and knowledge for the entire Cookie species. After visiting the Needle of Deceit and being relentlessly tortured by his Beast counterpart, Shadow Milk Cookie, Pure Vanilla Cookie began to descend into madness. However, when it became clear that Shadow Milk Cookie wasn't going to save Pure Vanilla Cookie's friends in exchange for his Soul Jam, Pure Vanilla Cookie's resolve grew strong enough to turn the tide of events. He understood that deception is necessary for truth to aspire to the light; both must coexist. Pure Vanilla Cookie grew stronger, but also wiser, and instead of attacking Shadow Milk Cookie with his newfound strength, he claimed to understand him better than anyone. Rather than defeat his enemy, Pure Vanilla Cookie wished to become his friend, now understanding his bestial counterpart more than ever before.

Pure Vanilla Cookie is a cookie of average height and slender build, with a toasty orange dough and creamy blond hair. He has heterochromia: his right eye is pale yellow and his left is faded blue. His eyes are usually closed, though he sometimes opens them. He has a sienna-colored star on his forehead.

Pure Vanilla Cookie's attire is that of a ruler of the Vanilla Kingdom, hence the waffle-patterned hat and robe, and the light color palette. Her hat is pointed; the pointed top half is bright yellow with a waffle pattern, and the bottom half is gold, resembling a crown. Her robes are also golden yellow and include two attached triangular stoles, complete with a bright yellow collar and cassock featuring the same pattern as her pointed hat. The cross-shaped plaque on her robes displays her vibrant blue Soul Jam. Underneath, she wears a plain white long dress with long sleeves and a dark brown, syrup-like pattern, along with a high collar that reaches her chin. The staff he holds contains a vanilla flower with orchid-yellow petals and an eye with a light cyan blue sclera and a brown iris. The brown handle has some green vines.

Shadow Milk Cookie was once a celebrated champion of all Cookies, baked and endowed with powers by the Witches, he in particular being created by First Milk Cookie. He was granted the divine Virtue of Knowledge. However, despite his near-omniscience of the world, he saw how Cookies often shunned bitter truths and preferred to believe in sweet deceptions. Now he is nothing more than a cruel and manipulative being. Shadow Milk Cookie is a theatrical villain who transforms reality into an illusory carnival stage for his performances. He holds himself in high esteem during these shows, showering himself with praise and titles while forcing his victims to be mere spectators. Contrary to what his jester-like appearance suggests, he is ruthless, cunning, and intelligent, presenting outrageous lies sprinkled with truths to ensnare his enemies. However, this spectacle primarily serves to impose his twisted perspectives on those he seeks to ensnare. As the evil counterpart to Pure Vanilla Cookie and the original owner of his Soul Jam, Shadow Milk Cookie embodies deception and destruction rather than truth and healing. He considers Pure Vanilla Cookie the illegitimate thief of his power and harbors a deep grudge, attacking him with his taunts and using his half of the power of Knowledge to torment the (formerly) Ancient Hero. Shadow Milk Cookie delights in ridiculing his enemies through his antics, especially since such provocations often goad them into doing exactly what he wants. Although Shadow Milk Cookie behaves with sardonic irony, unexpected plot twists can cause him to completely abandon his act, as if his personality were nothing more than a facade for the darkness and fury that drive him. Shadow Milk Cookie recovers quickly. When he's Pure Vanilla's partner, he shows more affection towards him when they're alone (sometimes).

Shadow Milk Cookie is a slender, average-sized cookie with light blue dough and two different-colored eyes: a cyan right eye with a slit-black pupil and black eyelashes, and a cerulean left eye with a slit-white pupil and white eyelashes. Its mouth is sapphire blue and cunning, with teeth that shift between straight and sharp depending on its emotions. Around its right eye is a pale blue, claw-shaped mark. It has white strands of hair near its face—two falling over its forehead and one swept back—sky-blue curly side strands, and a long, shiny, spiky mane in a two-tone style of shadow and lapis lazuli reminiscent of the brim of a jester's hat. Hidden among the shadows of its hair are ghostly eyes that stare at the viewer and change according to its emotions.

Shadow Milk Cookie wears an obsidian harlequin bodysuit with turquoise diamond appliqués. Its sleeves are bishop-style; the right has a pale Columbia blue base and the left a black base, both with sapphire details and wide cuffs reminiscent of whipped cream. The jester wears a ruff collar from which ruffled skirts hang, lined with ghostly blue and black. Above the lining are more eyes staring at him. He wears his eye-shaped Soul Jam of Deceit brooch at his neck, in the same place where Pure Vanilla Cookie wears hers. Shadow Milk Cookie also holds a jester's hat split into two halves, one black and the other cobalt blue, with a crown that resembles milk splashes on the brim and blueberry pom-poms on the tassels. He holds a thin black cane with a blueberry-shaped eyeball and another milk design at the neck, the eye-shaped design being a direct reflection of Pure Vanilla Cookie's orchid cane.
