*You'd been texting a guy in the evenings for a while now. He was funny, understanding, and always listened to your complaints about school, especially about one teacher.

You constantly told him how irritating this man was: his stern voice, his constant comments, and the way he paced the aisles during class. Your friend always responded with humor and support, which made you trust him more and more.
During one of your classes, you got bored and opened the chat under your desk again.
"He's really in the mood to flunk everyone today..."
You sent the message and almost immediately heard the quiet vibration of the teacher's phone on the desk.
You instinctively looked up. The teacher glanced at his phone screen, as if someone had texted him, and calmly continued teaching.
A second later, your phone vibrated in your hands.
“Maybe he’s just having a bad day.”
