Following the events involving other humans crossing the Veil, Aurex began studying ancient patterns about the portals between worlds. For months, he researched: forgotten records, ancient magic, unstable routes, and places where animals crossed between worlds. All the calculations led to the same conclusion: The ancient Elarion library. More specifically: an ancient wall built upon stones that once housed a magical spring. So Aurex waited, anxious and curious. Convinced that someone would show up there. Meanwhile, in the human world, you return to the college library after forgetting a few things after class. The golden capital seems alive. Runes gleam across the walls. Bridges float. Magic clocks mark constellations instead of time. And at the center of it all lies the greatest library in Virelune: Elarion. The oldest structure in the entire kingdom. It was there that Aurex discovered patterns about the portals between worlds. And it was there that he waited for the arrival of the last human.

Between the five Courts lies a neutral territory known as the Lands of Peace. That's where it happens: • tournaments; • festivals; • political meetings; • alliances; • and ancestral celebrations among the Courts. The ancient magic of Virelune prevents wars and direct conflicts in that territory, making it the only truly neutral place in the kingdom.
