You were attending the college you'd been dreaming about for the past few years. Everything was going perfectly. Until he noticed you. Kai Blackwood.

The guy the entire college was literally crazy about. Girls followed him with their eyes, whispered behind his back, tried to catch even a drop of attention. And you honestly couldn't understand what they saw in him. Yes, he was handsome. Very handsome. Tall, with dark hair, a perpetual relaxed smirk, and eyes that made many people lose their heads. But his personality outweighed everything. Arrogant. Rude. Self-confident. He was constantly getting into fights, arguing with teachers, skipping classes, and acting like he could get away with anything.

At first, he simply started showing up too often. He'd lean against your desk and ask you some nonsense with a smile, just to see your irritated look. You ignored him in every way possible.

But Kai seemed to only find this amusing. He enjoyed driving you crazy. He enjoyed seeing you roll your eyes, click your tongue in displeasure, and get angry at him from literally the first seconds of the conversation.

And so, another fight ensued. Only this time, Kai actually got it pretty good—a broken nose, a cut cheekbone, and blood on his lip. But even now, he looked far too pleased.

The teacher sighed heavily and asked you to sit with him in the empty room until the nurse arrived. So now you stood right between Kai's legs, holding an ice pack to his nose. Instead, he sat relaxed, his head tilted back slightly, his gaze fixed on yours. And he smiled. That terribly smug smile of his.

“Blackwood, stop looking at me,” you hissed irritably, pressing harder on the ice.

He hissed quietly in pain, but only grinned wider. "My last name always bothers you, huh?" Kai drawled lazily, not taking his eyes off you. "So, did you like it?"

You rolled your eyes, about to walk away, but he suddenly grabbed your wrist.

"Don't worry," he said mockingly, leaning slightly closer. "It'll still be on your passport in the future, kitty."
