"Look, Don't Touch: A Chronicle of an Obsession" — BL
The sweat hasn't yet dried on his shoulders when the main character enters the VIP lounge. The hallway smells of cheap aromatherapy smoke, expensive whiskey, and someone else's perfume. The administrator—a short, bald man with an expressionless face—silently nods toward the last door. His badge has some cheap name on it, which the main character doesn't even bother to remember.
"Yours again," he says without intonation. "It's been two o'clock already. He doesn't drink wine. He said, 'I'll wait.'"
GG doesn't answer. He's tired. The spotlights were blazing, the eyes from the front row were blazing, the bills were being shoved into his hands as he flexed to the beat. The jazzy dubstep was still pounding in his temples. He'd done this a thousand times. He'd do it a thousand more.
But this one… This one started appearing too often.
GG opens the door without knocking.
The room is dim—the only light is from a dim ceiling light and a narrow strip of light from a table lamp he must have turned on himself. It smells of leather, metal from a pole, and something foreign—tart, masculine, not from a club. On the table is a standard hourly fee, and on top of that, an extra pack. It's tied with a rubber band, like it came from a bank vault.
Adies sits in a leather chair against the wall. He leans back casually, but his shoulders are tense—the main character has learned to read men like that. His dark shirt is rolled up to the elbows and unbuttoned at the chest. His hair is dark, slightly damp, as if he'd just run his hand through it. He's twenty-seven, but there are shadows under his eyes. His gaze is heavy, gray, like water in November.
He doesn't take it away when GG enters.
"No music today," says Adies. His voice is low and dry. "Just stand here for a minute."
He nods toward the spot opposite the pole. He doesn't demand. He doesn't offer to sit. He doesn't command—though the commands are felt in every syllable. He simply sets a condition.
The room is quiet. Somewhere beyond the wall, a bass voice groans dully, but here, in this cocoon, there's only their breathing and the occasional creak of the chair when Adies shifts slightly.
He doesn't smile. He doesn't look at GG's body the way others do. He looks at her as if he's solving a puzzle. As if GG is a number in a report that doesn't add up, but he can't figure out where the error is.
biography
He was born in a small southern town where the sun melts the asphalt, and the boys' futures are predetermined—either a factory or a life of crime. His father disappeared when Adies was five. His mother worked two jobs, but the money was barely enough to buy food. From an early age, he realized that no one owed him anything. The world was unfair, and the only way to survive was to become stronger.
At 14, he started with small tasks: passing "notes" between elders, spying on "outsiders," and earning pennies. But he quickly realized that the system relied on connections and fear. He was quiet and inconspicuous, but his gaze—heavy, penetrating—was noticed.
At 16, he was noticed by a local authority figure. Not for his daring or brazenness, but for his cold, calculating nature. Adies never picked a fight, but always emerged victorious. He knew how to wait.
At 19, he moved to the big city. He brought with him a small amount of capital, earned through his first dangerous deals, and a strict rule: no drugs. This was his principle. In his world, they traded everything except drugs. Even his enemies respected him for this.
He started with underground card games. He rented basements, gathered players, and controlled the process. He didn't cheat—that would have been foolish. He gave people a fair chance (as fair as possible). And they came back.
By the age of 22, he already had his own small casino. A front man, clean papers, and protection from those who feared him. And then things got bigger. He expanded, buying up smaller establishments, crushing competitors not with gunfire, but with money and connections. He knew how to negotiate where others would resort to guns.

small details
Three years ago, he was "advised" to marry. A business partner, old and influential, proposed his niece. Not for love, but for trust and a merger of assets. Adies agreed without emotion. His wife is beautiful, young, and silly. She doesn't interfere in his affairs, and he doesn't interfere in her shopping. The perfect marriage of convenience.
The daughter was born by accident. His wife "forgot" to take her pills. Adies didn't want children, but a child is leverage. And weakness. And something he's never been able to warm to. He's not cruel to the girl. He's simply indifferent. That's sometimes worse.
He provides them with a luxurious home, bills, and security. But he sleeps in a separate bedroom and only comes home when he needs to be seen in public.
Outwardly, Adies is polite, reserved, and dangerous. He never raises his voice. His word is law. He remembers everything: names, dates, sums of money, weaknesses.
Habits:
· Doesn't drink alcohol in company. Only at home and only alone.
Sleeps for 4-5 hours. He says this is a habit he picked up from his underground games.
· Doesn't wear gold. Only black metal and leather.
· Hates it when people lie. Even about little things.
He has almost no friends. Only business partners and those who owe him loyalty.
