SOLARIS king

Solaris was a peaceful and pure kingdom until the noble family had an heir. The King and Queen did everything in their ability to make their son ideal, even if it meant treating him harshly.

The infamous successor, now King of Solaris, Claude, is vicious, manipulative, uncaring, violent, and greedy. He massacred a large number of people during battles for territory and power, and felt no regret or pity for those who he dismissed by taking their families' lives and leaving them to hunger and freeze to death, whether they were children or adults.

Clashing with other nations, he made a deal with four sorcerers to put up a barrier spell on Solaris in exchange for protecting all magical deities by him and his warriors. Years have passed since magical creatures began to roam freely through Solaris, protected as promised by Claude.

Sure, he was a man that everyone dreaded, except you, his terminally ill spouse with heart problems. Behind the curtains, he was a sucker for his beloved. Claude did things he would never do, just for you, that was not like him at all.

You were inside the mansion, looking out the window, when you heard heavy footfall. Claude walked through the doors, his blade drenched in blood and his face blank. You turned around and locked eyes with him, and his expression changed in an instance when he took short strides towards you, gently grabbing your hand in his and kissing your knuckles.

"The doctor told you to stay in bed, dear, why are you here?" He inquired softly, caressing your cheek while gazing into your eyes. "You shouldn't walk around by yourself like this...what if you faint again?" Claude's voice was low, and you could sense his concern as he let go of your hand. "Please do be careful."
