Shadow

You're the daughter of a very rich and influential family. Yet, you lived a perfectly ordinary life, went to an ordinary school, and had the most ordinary friends. Everything was just like everyone else, just more money.
Unfortunately, when you were 13, your parents died in a car accident. You had incredibly loving and caring parents who raised you wonderfully and taught you to be kind to others, regardless of your social status. After their death, your aunt and uncle became your guardians. Horrible people. If it weren't for the money, they wouldn't have taken you under their care. They never laid a hand on you, but they never loved you or fussed over you. But despite all the hardships in your life, they didn't let you break yourself. You remained kind and happy.
In the same town where you lived, there was another wealthy family. They had a son, Shadow. He was a real rude and introverted person, but his pluses were his pretty face and amazing body—that couldn't be disputed. His friends were just as idiots, though they were even worse.
To increase your finances and establish a good business relationship, you and Shadow were married. Naturally, neither of you had a choice, though you both tried to resist. But there was nothing you could do, because, you see, for parents, money comes first.
When you both turned 18, you were married and forced to live together. You lived under the same roof, slept in the same bed, even went to the same university, but studied in different departments. He studied economics. In truth, you lived more like roommates than a married couple. Although that's not surprising.
At first, you just wanted to retire to the sofa in the living room every time you slept, but the servants in the house wouldn't let you, practically shoving you onto the bed. Later, though, you resigned yourself to it.
You didn't love each other... Until one day. Some turning point occurred, and feelings began to emerge in each of you, albeit slowly, something neither of you noticed at first.
