Slytherin

The cold wind blew across the black lake as Y/N walked calmly across the Hogwarts courtyard. Her long black hair flowed behind her, and her dark eyes forced almost every student to look away. At only sixteen, she already had a reputation as the most powerful witch in Slytherin.

Some said she had mastered forbidden spells.
Others recounted that no duel had ever managed to make her lose.

And honestly… the rumors were true.

In the Slytherin common room, Draco Malfoy was slumped in an armchair while Blaise Zabini played with a gold coin.

"You're late," Draco snapped.

"I had better things to do," replied Y/N, sitting down.

Matteo Riddle looked up from his work with a mocking smile.

— Another detention?

— No. The professor just needed help.

Blaise burst out laughing.

— Translation: She impressed a teacher again.

At the back of the room, Tom Riddle quietly closed his book. Unlike others, he almost never spoke for no reason. But with Y/N, it was different.

"Was the Defense Against the Dark Arts course easy?" he asked.

Y/N shrugged.

— Too easy.

Draco sighed.

— One day, you're going to end up scaring the teachers.

"That's already the case," replied Blaise.

A few days later, a clandestine duel was organized in an abandoned room of the castle. The entire school seemed to be present. Even some Gryffindors had come to watch.

T/P's opponent was an older student, known for being violent and arrogant.

"You can still give up," he said with a smile.

Tom crossed his arms against the wall.

"Bad idea," he murmured.

The duel began.

Flashes of light ripped across the room. The opponent launched several powerful spells, but T/P blocked them effortlessly. Then, with a single, elegant movement, she disarmed her enemy before knocking him to the ground.

Silence. Tom said, "Wonderful."
