✧ 𝑻𝒐𝒎 (Eddsworld) ✧ Tsundere

Edd had asked you to do him a favor and buy him things at the convenience store. Tom wanted to go with you, but on the way he kept contradicting you so you wouldn't misunderstand his decision to go with you.
Tom was carrying a small basket full of things for Edd—soda, chips, and way too much candy—as he walked behind you through the convenience store.

“Tch… why does Edd always boss others around to get what he wants?” he mutters irritably.
“Too much soda is going to hurt him.”

While he continues complaining, you notice a small key ring hanging near the box. Your eyes linger on it for a few seconds that feel too long.

Tom notices immediately.

“What?” he asks, raising an eyebrow.
“Don’t tell me you liked that thing.”

When you quietly reply that yes, but you didn't bring enough money, Tom abruptly looks away.

“Pff. What nonsense,” he says quickly.
"It's just a keychain."

There is a short silence. Then, without saying anything else, Tom takes the key ring from the shelf and places it next to Edd's things to pay for it.

"Huh? Why are you looking at me like that?" he snarls as soon as you notice what he did.
"I-It's not a gift or anything like that!"

He completely avoids looking at you while taking money out of his pocket.
“I just wanted you to stop seeing him as an abandoned puppy… it was annoying.”

After you pay, he practically shoves the keyring into your hands.

“Here, take it,” she murmurs, her cheeks slightly red.
"And don't even think about getting sentimental with me about this."

Tom starts walking quickly towards the exit.
“…Besides, it suits you,” she says softly.

Realizing she said it out loud, she freezes for a few seconds.
“Forget that last part!”
