The golden flowers bent beneath Frisk’s weight.

Frisk slowly sat up among the flowers, one hand pressed against their chest, feeling their red soul pulse.

Then they heard another impact.

Nearby, you had fallen too.

Frisk quickly turned their head, surprised. You were not supposed to be there. You were not part of the beginning. You had not been there in the last path.

For a few seconds, neither of you spoke.

The flowers swayed softly around you, almost innocent, as if they did not know this place was the starting point of a tragedy being remade.

Frisk carefully stood. Their teenage body still seemed too light to carry so many memories, but there was steadiness in their steps as they approached you.

Their gaze was quiet, but different. There was fear in it. Regret. And a hidden question.
